A
visionary entrepreneur is one who able to see what others are not able to see.
The visionary starts a business with a new idea, to make something better or to
satisfy a unique need. A
visionary entrepreneur does not start a business in the opportunity that to
improve their own lives but they start a business to improve lives of their
customer. They often not primarily interest in making money but want to do
something that no one else has done before but they can. Visionary
entrepreneurs are able to see exactly what his business is going to look like
in every detail and when it is finished. They have a picture of how the
business is working and the result is going to produce.
Visionary
entrepreneurs also attracting brilliant followers. They understand the need for
meaning and purpose in followers and uses the need to inspire followers to
achieve the goals and build a better future. Followers feel motivated by the
vision and unite as one within the group because the common cause.
Example
of visionary entrepreneur Nick Woodman. He is the founder and CEO of GoPro.
Nick Woodman’s idea was born from a personal problem. As avid surfer, Woodman
had frustrated with the camera, it was hard to get great shots and footage of
himself while he was riding the wave. The photo quality was terrible, and the
camera often flew off, sometimes the camera hitting his in the face. To counter
the possibility, Woodman thought of developing a wearable camera that could be
secure with a wrist strap and worn during extreme sports, like surfing. After
months of intense focus, a prototype was born, which now holds a commanding
share of the US video camera market- up to 55% when specialty channel shops are
included.
