Outcome Oriented

Outcome oriented can be defined as a person or team works hard to achieve good results in the tasks that they have been given. The management team was made up of ambitious and they work hard for their positions. Outcome oriented person more interested in the final outcome rather that going through a process.

Datuk Jimmy Choo Yeang Keat aka Jimmy Choo who was born in Penang, Malaysia. He is a Malaysian Fashion designer based in the London, United Kingdom. He is the co-founder of Jimmy Choo Ltd which is well known British high fashion house, and became known for its handmade women’s shoes.

Choo’s father, Chow Kee Yin who was a shoe cobbler wanted him to follow in his footsteps and taught him how to make shoes. Choo’s name was misspelled on his birth certificates as his family name is Chow. He made his first shoe at 11 years old. Choo moved to London to pursue his studies after learning from his father about the craft of shoemaking. In 1983, Choo graduated from Cordwainers Technical College. To help fund his college education, he worked part-time at restaurants and as a cleaner at a shoe factory.

Choo’s design become famous in United Kingdom and his design coverage in Vogue magazine. Jimmy Choo intends to launch shoes manufacturing company in Italy. Therefore, he has worked with Tamara Mellon who is a British fashion designer and Vogue accessories editor. After that, Choo and Tamara founded a brand that claimed to have been a favorite of Princess Diana, that is Jimmy Choo Limited.

Jimmy Choo name become a global brand with high-end retail clients that included Harrods and Saks Fifth Avenue carrying Choo footwear. It had also expanded to handbags and other accessories. The most important is Choo’s shoe design is one of the leading shoe design that recognized on the international stage until nowadays.  Because of that, Choo gained a number of awards and recognition as a result of his hard work.  Nevertheless, among the awards given to Choo are the title 'Datuk' by the Sultan of Pahang on its success in the field of fashion and he also conferred the bosom of the State Secretariat of the President of the State of Penang which also carries the title Dato'. Besides, Choo also awarded the title of' professor by the University of the Arts London for his contribution in the field of fashion overseas.  In 2002, Choo is the first Malaysian who receive the award "Order of the British Empire" OBE (Knighthood) by the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II.

            Choo work hard to achieve his goal and dreams as a famous shoe designer.
